Lomefloxacin uses Lomefloxacin is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is also effective for infections of the urinary tract, tonsils, sinuses, nose, throat, female genital organs, skin and soft tissues, and lungs (pneumonia).
How it Works
How Lomefloxacin works Lomefloxacin is an antibiotic that functions by inhibiting the activity of a bacterial enzyme known as DNA-gyrase. This action prevents bacterial cells from dividing and repairing themselves, ultimately leading to their destruction.
Side Effects
Common side effects of Lomefloxacin include nausea, headache, diarrhea, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), constipation, and dizziness.
