NULL is an oral anti-diabetic medication containing Teneligliptin, a Dipeptidyl Peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor. It is used to manage Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) in adults by enhancing the body's natural ability to lower blood sugar. It works by increasing insulin levels after meals and reducing the amount of sugar produced by the liver, specifically acting only when blood glucose levels are high.

NULL is a modern anti-diabetic agent belonging to the class of medications known as "gliptins." It is prescribed for adults with Type 2 Diabetes when diet and exercise alone do not provide adequate glycemic control. The medication targets the incretin system. Incretins are hormones released by the gut that signal the pancreas to produce insulin. This leads to better insulin secretion and a decrease in glucagon (a hormone that raises sugar) in a glucose-dependent manner.

• Salicylates: High doses of aspirin may enhance the blood-sugar-lowering effect.

• History of Pancreatitis: Should be used with caution in patients who have previously had inflammation of the pancreas.

• Arrhythmia: Caution is advised in patients with a history of QT prolongation (a heart rhythm condition).

In case of an overdose, symptomatic and supportive treatment is required. While Teneligliptin has a high safety ceiling, an overdose should be reported to emergency services or a healthcare provider immediately for monitoring.

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed tablet.
