Arthralgia (joint pain)

In Arthralgia (joint pain) Arthralgia is a condition with pain and stiffness in the joints that causes difficulty in movement. Accept-XL Tablet helps in reducing this pain and stiffness. It also reduces swelling in the joints. Altogether, it helps in easy movement. Accept-XL Tablet if taken at the start of symptoms of arthralgia might prevent further damage of the joints. This will help you do your daily activities more easily and thus improve your quality of life. Accept-XL Tablet should be taken at the same time each day to get maximum benefits. You should continue taking it until your doctor asks you to stop.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Vomiting, Indigestion, Heartburn, Stomach pain, Diarrhea, Loss of appetite, Urine discoloration']

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Accept-XL Tablet is to be taken with food.

Accept-XL Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Aceclofenac and Diacerein which relieve muscle and joint pain. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Diacerein is a proteoglycan synthesis stimulator which blocks the chemicals that cause inflammation and pain and helps in the building of cartilage (the soft connective tissue in the bones near the joints) in the body.

Alcohol

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Accept-XL Tablet.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Accept-XL Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Information regarding the use of Accept-XL Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor.

Driving

UNSAFE - Accept-XL Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Accept-XL Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Accept-XL Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

UNSAFE - Accept-XL Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Accept-XL Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
