Treatment of Common cold

In Treatment of Common cold Addelo Cold 2mg/500mg/10mg Tablet is a combination medicine that effectively relieves symptoms of common cold such as blocked nose, runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, and congestion or stuffiness. It helps to loosen thick mucus, making it easier to cough out. This makes it easier for air to move in and out. It shrinks the blood vessels and provides rapid relief that lasts for several hours. Addelo Cold 2mg/500mg/10mg Tablet usually starts to work within a few minutes and the effects can last up to several hours. Take it as prescribed by the doctor. Do not stop using it unless you are advised to by your doctor. Taking this medicine enables you to live your life more freely without worrying so much about things that set off your symptoms.

Addelo Cold 2mg/500mg/10mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Chlorpheniramine, paracetamol and phenylephrine which relieves common cold symptoms. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose.

Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Addelo Cold 2mg/500mg/10mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Addelo Cold 2mg/500mg/10mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. Use of Addelo Cold 2mg/500mg/10mg Tablet may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.

Liver

CAUTION - Addelo Cold 2mg/500mg/10mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Addelo Cold 2mg/500mg/10mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
