In Pain due to muscle spasm Adenim MR Tablet treats pain due to muscle spasm by relaxing stiff muscles. It also reduces swelling in the muscles. Altogether, it helps in easy movement and reduces discomfort. Adenim MR Tablet works quickly, usually within a few hours and the maximum benefit can take 2 to 4 weeks or sometimes longer. Take it as prescribed. Once you see some improvement, you can start doing therapy exercises (such as walking or breathing exercises) that will help you get your strength back more quickly.

Adenim MR Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Nimesulide, Paracetamol and Chlorzoxazone which relieve pain and relax the muscles.Nimesulide is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Chlorzoxazone is a muscle relaxant. It works on brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Adenim MR Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Adenim MR Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Information regarding the use of Adenim MR Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Doctor consultation is advised.

Driving

Not Safe: Adenim MR Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Adenim MR Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Adenim MR Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Adenim MR Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver

Not Safe: Adenim MR Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Adenim MR Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

You have been prescribed Adenim MR Tablet to get relief from pain and stiffness in the muscles. Take it with food or milk to prevent an upset stomach. You may see results within 1.5 to 2 hours after taking Adenim MR Tablet. Take it exactly as advised by your doctor. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medicine as it can increase your risk of stomach problems. Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications with paracetamol in them. Along with taking Adenim MR Tablet, your doctor might advise you to undergo physiotherapy to get relief from muscle pain.
