Aquashot Injection is a combination of two medicines: Dicyclomine and Diclofenac, which relieves abdominal pain and cramps. Dicyclomine is an anticholinergic which works by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms) thereby relieving cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause abdominal pain and inflammation (swelling).

Alcohol

Caution: It is important to consult your doctor regarding alcohol consumption while taking Aquashot Injection .

Pregnancy

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Aquashot Injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Aquashot Injection is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving

Not Safe: Aquashot Injection may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Aquashot Injection may cause headaches, blurred vision, dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. This may affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Aquashot Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Aquashot Injection may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Caution Advised: Aquashot Injection should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Aquashot Injection may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Regular monitoring of liver function tests is recommended in patients with liver disease if this medicine is to be taken for a long time.

If a dose of Aquashot Injection is missed, it's advisable to consult your doctor.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

You will be administered Aquashot Injection to get relief from abdominal pain, cramps and bloating. It is given by a doctor or nurse when the first sign of pain occurs. Avoid taking any antacid at least 2 hours before or after taking Aquashot Injection. Inform your doctor if your pain does not reduce or if your symptoms get worse. You have been prescribed Aquashot Injection to get relief from abdominal pain, cramps, and bloating. It is best to take it when the first sign of pain occurs.
