In Treatment of Pain due to muscle spasm Zerodol-MR Tablet is a combination medicine that contains a painkiller as well as a muscle relaxant. It is used to relieve pain, inflammation, and swelling in conditions that affect muscles. Also, it effectively relieves muscle stiffness or spasm, thereby improving muscle movement. It works by blocking chemical messengers in the brain that tell us we have pain. Take it as prescribed by the doctor to get the most benefit. Do not take more or for a longer duration than needed as that can be dangerous. In general, you should take the lowest dose that works, for the shortest possible time. This will help you to go about your daily activities more easily and have a better, more active, quality of life.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Vomiting, Stomach pain/epigastric pain, Heartburn, Diarrhea, Loss of appetite, Dryness in mouth, Sleepiness']

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zerodol-MR Tablet is to be taken with food.

Zerodol-MR Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Aceclofenac and Tizanidine, which relieves pain and relaxes the muscles. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.

Alcohol

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Zerodol-MR Tablet.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Zerodol-MR Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Information regarding the use of Zerodol-MR Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor.

Driving

UNSAFE - Zerodol-MR Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

CAUTION - Zerodol-MR Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Zerodol-MR Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

CAUTION - Zerodol-MR Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Zerodol-MR Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Zerodol-MR Tablet is not advised in patients with severe liver disease. Liver function tests are recommended before the start of treatment and then on a regular basis as advised.

If you miss a dose of Zerodol-MR Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
