Cefipime works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Tazobactum reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefipime against bacteria.Arodcefa 1000mg/125mg Injection can be used to treat many different bacterial infections. This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

How Arodcefa Injection works Arodcefa 1000mg/125mg Injection is a combination of two medicines: Cefepime and Tazobactum. Cefepime is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Tazobactum is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which blocks the action of enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate cefepime. Addition of Tazobactum reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefepime against bacteria.

Alcohol

Caution: It is important to consult your doctor regarding alcohol consumption while taking Arodcefa 1000mg/125mg Injection .

Pregnancy

Arodcefa 1000mg/125mg Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Breast feeding

Arodcefa 1000mg/125mg Injection is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.

Driving

Arodcefa 1000mg/125mg Injection may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear.

Kidney

Arodcefa 1000mg/125mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Arodcefa 1000mg/125mg Injection may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Arodcefa 1000mg/125mg Injection is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Arodcefa 1000mg/125mg Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

If a dose of Arodcefa 1000mg/125mg Injection is missed, it's advisable to consult your doctor.

You have been prescribed this combination medicine to treat bacterial infections, even if they have developed resistance. Finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection to come back and harder to treat. Talk to your doctor if you notice bloody stools or develop abdominal cramps. Inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue or breathing difficulties while taking it.
