Drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

Azithromycin stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Alcohol

Pregnancy

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Azibact CF 200 mg/250 mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Breast feeding

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Azibact CF 200 mg/250 mg Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby. There may be a possibility of diarrhea or rash in the baby.

Driving

Not Safe: Azibact CF 200 mg/250 mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Azibact CF 200 mg/250 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Azibact CF 200 mg/250 mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Caution Advised: Azibact CF 200 mg/250 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Azibact CF 200 mg/250 mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Azibact CF 200 mg/250 mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Your doctor has prescribed Azibact CF 200 mg/250 mg Tablet to cure your infection and improve your symptoms. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection to come back and harder to treat. Do not take antacids 2 hours before or after taking Azibact CF 200 mg/250 mg Tablet. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools. Stop taking medicine and inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue or breathing difficulties while taking it.
