In Eye infection Beclo Eye Drop stops the growth of bacteria and fungi that is causing the infection in the eyes. It helps relieve symptoms such as pain, swelling, redness, itching or irritation caused due to eye infections. The dose and duration of treatment will be decided by your doctor based on your condition. Make sure you complete the full course of treatment. This will ensure that the infection is completely cured and prevent it from returning. Wash your eyes with lukewarm water before applying Beclo Eye Drop. You can also give warm compress to get relief from the discomfort. In Treatment of Ear infection Beclo Eye Drop is a combination of medicines used to treat ear infections caused by microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi. It works by killing and stopping the growth of infections causing microorganisms, thereby clearing the infection. It also blocks the release of chemicals that cause symptoms such as itching, redness, swelling, and ear discharge. Therefore this medicine relieves the inflammation due to these infections. You should use this medicine for as long as it is prescribed, even if your symptoms disappear, otherwise they may come back. Depending on the type of infection you are treating, this may be several weeks. Even after your infection is completely cured, you may have to use it occasionally to prevent the symptoms from returning.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

Beclo Eye Drop is a combination of four medicines: Lidocaine, Beclometasone, Clotrimazole and Chloramphenicol, which treats eye infections. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic which works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain thereby decreasing pain sensation. Beclometasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red, swollen and itchy. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Beclo Eye Drop may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Beclo Eye Drop is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving

UNSAFE - Beclo Eye Drop may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
