Vertigo

In Vertigo Vertigo means a spinning sensation or dizziness that is triggered due to frequent movement. It can happen due to many reasons but it may also occur without any underlying disease. C Dom 15mg/20mg Tablet helps treat this sensation effectively. If you feel dizzy while getting up from the bed, sit for a while and then rise slowly to avoid having an accidental fall. It will be more effective if you take this medicine regularly as prescribed so try not to miss doses. It may take a couple of weeks before you notice any improvements but keep taking it, even if you do feel better, until your doctor advises it is safe to stop.

C Dom 15mg/20mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Cinnarizine. Domperidone is an antiemetic and a prokinetic. It works by blocking the action of dopamine (a chemical messenger) in the brain which causes nausea and vomiting. Cinnarizine is calcium channel antagonist which works by preventing constriction of the blood vessels of the inner ear. This improves the microcirculation of the ear.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with C Dom 15mg/20mg Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Driving

Kidney

Caution Advised: C Dom 15mg/20mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of C Dom 15mg/20mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Caution Advised: C Dom 15mg/20mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of C Dom 15mg/20mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of C Dom 15mg/20mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease.

If a dose of C Dom 15mg/20mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

You have been prescribed C Dom 15mg/20mg Tablet to relieve vertigo (dizziness) and nausea associated with it. It can make you feel dizzy, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down for a long time. Take it at the same time each day to maintain a steady amount of the medicine in your body. Do not take it for longer than 7 days without consulting your doctor. C Dom 15mg/20mg Tablet can only decrease the number and severity of attacks but may not completely stop them.
