These include infections of the respiratory tract, ear, nose, throat, lungs, and skin. It is also effective against a bacteria known as H. pylori, which is associated with peptic ulcer disease. It stops further growth of the bacteria causing the infection and helps treat your infection. This medicine usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

Clanit 500 Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Thus, it stops the bacteria from growing, and prevents the infection from spreading.

CAUTION - Clanit 500 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Clanit 500 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Clanit 500 Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Clanit 500 Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
