In Eczema Eczema is a condition in which patches of skin swells and becomes dry, itchy, rough and red. Dermavate MF Cream moisturizes the skin and helps reduce dryness and itchiness. It also reduces swelling and redness at the affected area. Apply Dermavate MF Cream 1-2 times a day or as prescribed by your doctor. You might see an improvement in your skin after 2 to 3 weeks of treatment. In Psoriasis Psoriasis is a skin problem in which skin cells build up and form scales and dry patches which are itchy and painful. Applying Dermavate MF Cream helps manage psoriasis symptoms like itching, pain, redness, swelling or irritation. It also moisturizes the skin and makes it soft and smooth. Clean and dry the affected area before applying Dermavate MF Cream. Use it atleast 2-3 times a day or as prescribed. You may see change in your skin appearance after few weeks.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

Dermavate MF Cream is a combination of four medicines: Betamethasone, Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid and Urea which treat eczema and psoriasis. Betamethasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid and Urea are keratolytic medicines which break down keratin clumps, remove dead skin cells and soften the skin. They also enhance the absorption of Betamethasone into the skin.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Dermavate MF Cream may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Dermavate MF Cream is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

If you miss a dose of Dermavate MF Cream, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
