Chlorzoxazone is a centrally acting muscle relaxant that works primarily at the level of the spinal cord and subcortical areas of the brain to inhibit multi-synaptic reflex arcs responsible for causing and maintaining muscle spasms. Diclofenac Sodium is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzyme, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins (the chemical messengers responsible for pain, fever, and inflammation at the site of tissue injury). If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time for the next scheduled dose, skip the missed one. Do not take a double dose to compensate for the missed one.
