Elflav 200mg Tablet is used to treat and prevent muscle spasms of the urinary tract (the urine passing tube). It relaxes the muscles of the urinary tract to relieve symptoms like painful urination, excessive urination at night, and the inability to control urine flow. Elflav 200mg Tablet is best taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. Swallow the medicine as a whole without crushing or chewing it. You should not stop taking the medicine without consulting the doctor as it may lead to the worsening of your symptoms. Some common side effects of this medicine are nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, headache, sweating, and nervousness. The side effects may be avoided by drinking plenty of water. It may also make you feel dizzy or sleepy, so it advised not to drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. If any of the side effects bother you or persist, consult the doctor without delay. Before receiving the treatment, inform your doctor if you are on any medication for any health conditions. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, tell your doctor prior to the treatment. Glaucoma (a disease associated with increased eye pressure) patients should be extra careful while receiving the treatment, and they must inform the doctor before initiating it.

Treatment of Muscle spasms of the urinary tract
In Treatment of Muscle spasms of the urinary tract Elflav 200mg Tablet helps to treat uncontrollable contractions (spasms) of the bladder muscles that causes frequent urination, urgent need to urinate, and inability to control passing of urine. It also relieves painful, frequent, or nighttime urination and reduces urgency to urinate that may occur with some infections of the urinary tract. This medicine starts acting very quickly, within 2 to 3 hours and helps you live a better quality of life. Take it exactly as prescribed by the doctor.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Vomiting, Dryness in mouth, Headache, Drowsiness, Dizziness, Blurred vision, Nervousness, Sweating']

Elflav 200mg Tablet is anti-spasmodic. It works by relaxing muscles of the urinary bladder and prevents frequent, urgent or uncontrolled urination, and relieves associated pain.
Alcohol
UNSAFE - Elflav 200mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Pregnancy
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Elflav 200mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Breast feeding
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Elflav 200mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Driving
UNSAFE - Elflav 200mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. You may experience drowsiness, blurred vision or vertigo whilst taking Elflav 200mg Tablet. This may affect your ability to drive.
Kidney
CAUTION - Elflav 200mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Elflav 200mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - There is limited information available on the use of Elflav 200mg Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
If you miss a dose of Elflav 200mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
