Treatment of Muscle spasms of the urinary tract

In Treatment of Muscle spasms of the urinary tract URIQUEST-200 TAB helps to treat uncontrollable contractions (spasms) of the bladder muscles that causes frequent urination, urgent need to urinate, and inability to control passing of urine. It also relieves painful, frequent, or nighttime urination and reduces urgency to urinate that may occur with some infections of the urinary tract. This medicine starts acting very quickly, within 2 to 3 hours and helps you live a better quality of life. Take it exactly as prescribed by the doctor.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Vomiting, Dryness in mouth, Headache, Drowsiness, Dizziness, Blurred vision, Nervousness, Sweating']

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. URIQUEST-200 TAB is to be taken with food.

URIQUEST-200 TAB is anti-spasmodic. It works by relaxing muscles of the urinary bladder and prevents frequent, urgent or uncontrolled urination, and relieves associated pain.

Alcohol

UNSAFE - URIQUEST-200 TAB may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.

Pregnancy

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - URIQUEST-200 TAB is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - URIQUEST-200 TAB is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving

UNSAFE - URIQUEST-200 TAB may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. You may experience drowsiness, blurred vision or vertigo whilst taking URIQUEST-200 TAB. This may affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

CAUTION - URIQUEST-200 TAB should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of URIQUEST-200 TAB may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - There is limited information available on the use of URIQUEST-200 TAB in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of URIQUEST-200 TAB, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
