Ethamax TD Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of menstrual pain. It helps to relax smooth muscles and relieves the pain caused by smooth muscle spasm or tightness. It also control excessive bleeding. You can take Ethamax TD Tablet at any time of day, with or without food, but it is best to take it at the same time each day. It should be taken on first day of the periods to get the most benefit. Keep taking it for as long as advised by your doctor. Take this medicine in the dose and duration advised by the doctor and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Remember to finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Inform your doctor if you do not observe any change in periods even after 3 consecutive periods. The most common side effects of this medicine include headache, vertigo, nausea, sinus pain, sinus inflammation, rash, tiredness and musculoskeletal (bone, muscle or joint) pain. It is advised to consult with your doctor if you do not notice any changes in periods after 3 consecutive periods. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any kidney problems or vaginal bleeding disorder. Menstrual pain
In Menstrual pain Ethamax TD Tablet relieves the pain due to muscle cramps during menstrual cycles (periods) and also controls excess menstrual bleeding. It relaxes the muscles and prevents sudden contractions (spasms) of muscles. This treats your pain and discomfort and reduces the risk of excessive loss of blood due to menstruation. You may also use a heating pad, take a hot water shower, avoid stress and try mild exercise for easing out the pain.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. Ethamsylate and Tranexamic Acid work by preventing the breakdown of clots and control excessive bleeding.

If you miss a dose of Ethamax TD Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
