These include shortness of breath, tiredness, reduced concentration, pale or yellow skin, brittle nails etc. Fericom-SF Tablet helps treat as well as prevent iron deficiency by improving the level of iron in your body. It also reduces the risk of iron deficiency in pregnant and lactating women as well those who experience heavy menstrual periods. Along with taking Fericom-SF Tablet, include iron rich foods like spinach, dates, organ meats like liver, iron fortified cereals etc.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Fericom-SF Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Fericom-SF Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Sodium Feredetate and Folic Acid. Sodium Feredetate works by replenishing the iron stores in your body. Iron is vital for formation of new red blood cells and hemoglobin, a substance that gives these cells the ability to transport oxygen. Folic Acid is a form of vitamin B. It plays a vital role in the formation of red blood cells, which carry oxygen throughout the body. It also contains vitamin B12, that restores its level in the body thereby helping in treating certain anemias and nerve problems.

Alcohol

Pregnancy

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Fericom-SF Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.

Driving

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - It is not known whether Fericom-SF Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Kidney

Liver

If you miss a dose of Fericom-SF Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
