How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Gliozolamide 250mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
How it works
Gliozolamide 250mg Tablet is an anti-cancer medication. It enters the brain tissues and works by damaging the genetic material (DNA and RNA) of the cancer cells. This stops their growth and multiplication.

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Gliozolamide 250mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
UNSAFE - Gliozolamide 250mg Tablet is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.
UNSAFE - Gliozolamide 250mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Gliozolamide 250mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Gliozolamide 250mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. Cautious use is advised in patients with severe kidney disease while they are taking Gliozolamide 250mg Tablet.
CAUTION - Gliozolamide 250mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Gliozolamide 250mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Limited information is available on the use of Gliozolamide 250mg Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
What if I forget to take it?
If you miss a dose of Gliozolamide 250mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
