It works by killing and stopping the further growth of parasites causing the infection. This medicine usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all parasites are killed and do not become resistant. This medicine is generally safe to use while pregnant or breastfeeding, but you should ask your doctor.

Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Indben Oral Liquid is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Indben Oral Liquid may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. No dose adjustments required in kidney disease.

Liver

CAUTION - Indben Oral Liquid should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Indben Oral Liquid may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Indben Oral Liquid may cause elevated levels of enzymes in the liver. Monitoring of liver function tests (LFT) and complete blood count (CBC) is recommended while your child is taking this medicine.
