In case your child develops a stomach upset, prefer giving it with meals. Generally, this medicine is prescribed to be given two times a day, in the morning and evening. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of intake, repeat the same dose but do not double the dose if it is time for the next dose. This information is critical for dose alterations and for planning your childs overall treatment.

How it works

Innoxin MZS Oral Suspension is a combination of three active ingredients. While two of its ingredients, namely ofloxacin and metronidazole are antibiotics, simethicone is a gas-absorbing agent that improves gastric tolerability of the combination. The antibiotic ingredients interfere with the genetic material of bacteria by impairing its DNA. This kills the infection-causing bacteria, preventing its growth and stopping the infection. On the other hand, Simethicone binds with the gas bubbles produced as a result of the other two ingredients or as a result of some other problem. By doing so, it aids in the removal of gases and provides relief in stomach pain and bloating.
