Istra 0.05% Gel gel is intended for treating mild to moderate acne in teenagers and adults and should not be used in children before puberty or under 12.
Wash and dry your skin, removing all makeup before applying a thin layer of gel to all acne-affected areas. Avoid applying to irritated skin and do not use excessive amounts.
Do not donate blood while using Istra 0.05% Gel gel and for at least 1 month after stopping, as it may harm an unborn baby if given to a pregnant woman.
Acne may initially worsen with Istra 0.05% Gel gel, but improvement is typically seen after 6 to 8 weeks.
Using too much Istra 0.05% Gel gel may cause skin redness or irritation. If this occurs, reduce usage or stop for a few days.
Consult your doctor before planning a pregnancy. It is generally advised to wait about 1 month after stopping Istra 0.05% Gel to avoid potential harm to your unborn baby.
Avoid contact with the mouth, eyes, lips, mucous membranes, and wounded skin. Rinse with water if accidental contact occurs. Prevent accumulation in skin folds and minimize sun exposure, using sunscreen if necessary.
Do not apply Istra 0.05% Gel on recently treated skin (e.g., depilation, chemical peels, laser resurfacing) until it has healed. Consult your doctor if unsure.
