J-Coff Syrup is a combination medicine used to treat cough. It relieves allergic symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, throat irritation, watery eyes and congestion or stuffiness. It also thins and loosens mucus in the nose, windpipe and lungs making it easier to cough out. J-Coff Syrup is taken with or without in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. How it works
J-Coff Syrup is a combination of four medicines: Phenylephrine, guaifenesin, ambroxol and levocetirizine which relieve cough. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing temporary relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Guaifenesin is an expectorant which works by decreasing the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.

Pregnancy
