Lanolez Tablet DT is used to manage GERD and erosive gastritis in children aged 1 to 17, with established safety and effectiveness in this age group.
Lanolez Tablet DT is a proton pump inhibitor used to treat peptic ulcer disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and Zollinger Ellison syndrome (ZES) by reducing stomach acid production.
To give Lanolez Tablet DT through a nasogastric tube, open the capsule, mix the granules with apple juice in a syringe, and administer it directly into the stomach, flushing the tube with more apple juice afterward.
Avoid foods that cause acidity and heartburn, such as fried or spicy foods, butter, oil, caffeinated drinks, citrus juices, and alcohol.
Lanolez Tablet DT is typically taken once daily in the morning on an empty stomach, or twice daily with one dose in the morning and one in the evening, swallowed whole with water at least 1 hour before meals.
