In Epilepsy/Seizures Laxamind 100 Tablet is an anticonvulsant (or anti-epileptic) medicine that works by decreasing the nerve impulses which cause the seizures. By controlling the frequency of seizures, it will help you go about your daily activities with more confidence. It helps reduce symptoms such as confusion, uncontrollable jerking movements, loss of awareness, and fear or anxiety. This medicine is not associated with any physical or psychological dependence (addiction) but it should not be stopped suddenly. It must be taken regularly as prescribed to be effective. Missing doses may trigger a seizure.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Laxamind 100 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Laxamind 100 Tablet is an antiepileptic medication. It slowly inactivates the sodium gated channels, which decreases the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Thereby, it controls seizures or fits.

UNSAFE - Laxamind 100 Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. Laxamind 100 Tablet may cause dizziness or blurred vision. This may affect your ability to drive.
CAUTION - Laxamind 100 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Laxamind 100 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Laxamind 100 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
