High cholesterol

In High cholesterol Lipigraf D3 Tablet effectively reduces the high cholesterol levels in your body and prevents the absorption of excess of cholesterol from the food that you eat. Lowering the amount of cholesterol reduces the chances of heart diseases and helps you remain healthier for longer. It also contains Vitamin D3 supplements, that help relieve any muscle pain that may be caused due to the cholesterol lowering medicine. Additionally, they also improve heart health. Take it regularly and make appropriate lifestyle changes (such as eating healthy and staying active) to maximize the effectiveness of this medicine. Keep taking it even if you feel well.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lipigraf D3 Tablet is to be taken with food.

Lipigraf D3 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Atorvastatin and Vitamin D3 which treat high cholesterol. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL). Vitamin D3 is added to relieve the muscular pain caused by Atorvastatin.

Alcohol

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Lipigraf D3 Tablet.

Pregnancy

UNSAFE - Lipigraf D3 Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Lipigraf D3 Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving

SAFE - Lipigraf D3 Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Lipigraf D3 Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Lipigraf D3 Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Lipigraf D3 Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Lipigraf D3 Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Lipigraf D3 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
