How it works
Metrodin 200mg/250mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Metronidazole and Clioquinol (Iodochlorhydroxyquin), which treat stomach and intestine infections. Metronidazole is an antibiotic which kills bacteria and certain other infectious microorganisms by damaging the DNA. Clioquinol (Iodochlorhydroxyquin) is also an antibiotic with additional antifungal action. It works by preventing the growth and multiplication of both bacteria and fungi.
Alcohol
UNSAFE - Consuming alcohol while taking Metrodin 200mg/250mg Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).
Pregnancy
