Myovite M Tablet SR is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). It regulates ovulation and menstrual cycles (periods) in PCOS. It enhances the body's response to insulin and maintains hormonal balance. This improves your overall health. Myovite M Tablet SR should be taken in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It is to be taken with food, preferably at the same time each day. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose. It may cause side effects like taste changes, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, stomach pain, and loss of appetite. However, these are temporary and usually subside on their own. Please consult your doctor in case these do not resolve or persist for a longer duration. Before taking Myovite M Tablet SR, inform your doctor if you have any kidney, liver, or heart problems. Myovite M Tablet SR is a combination of two medicines: Metformin and Myoinositol, which treats polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) in females. Metformin is an antidiabetic medicine which helps regulate hormones in PCOS by balancing insulin levels. This regularizes menstruation and ovulation cycles. Myo-inositol is a naturally occurring messenger which ensures proper binding of insulin to its receptors and regulates the signaling that follows the binding process. Like this, it improves body?s response to insulin, and improves hormone balance.

Liver
CAUTION - Myovite M Tablet SR should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Myovite M Tablet SR may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Myovite M Tablet SR is generally started with low dose in patients with mild to moderate liver disease and its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
