Although it does not ?dissolve? blood clots, it can prevent them from getting bigger so your body can dissolve them over time. It will also prevent new ones from forming. It keeps your blood flowing freely around your body and makes it less likely that a clot will form inside a blood vessel. This can help prevent or reduce damage caused by stroke, clots in your lungs (pulmonary embolism) or other blood vessels (thrombosis). It can also make it less likely that parts of a clot will break off and travel to other parts of the body. You should take Mywarf Tablet regularly and make appropriate lifestyle changes to help this medicine be effective.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Mywarf Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Avoid Mywarf Tablet with Vitamin K rich food such as spinach, collards, broccoli, spring onions, cucumber and dried basil.

Mywarf Tablet is an anticoagulant. It works by preventing the formation of harmful blood clots. Although it does not dissolve the existing blood clots, it prevents them from growing larger and causing blockages in the blood vessels.

Alcohol

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Mywarf Tablet.

Pregnancy

UNSAFE - Mywarf Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Mywarf Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.

Driving

SAFE - Mywarf Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Mywarf Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Mywarf Tablet is recommended. However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. Regular blood tests are recommended when you are taking this medicine.

Liver

CAUTION - Mywarf Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Mywarf Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Mywarf Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
