In Treatment of Fever Nicalid Suspension is also used to reduce a high temperature (fever). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever. If you miss a dose of Nicalid Suspension, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
