In Abdominal pain Nicispas 20 mg/100 mg Tablet effectively relieves sudden muscle spasms or contractions in the stomach and intestine (gut), thereby relaxing the muscles and improving movement of food. This helps to treat abdominal pain (or stomach pain) as well as cramps, bloating and discomfort. Eventually, it will help you to go about your daily activities more easily and have a better, more active, quality of life.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nicispas 20 mg/100 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Nicispas 20 mg/100 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: dicyclomine and nimesulide which relieve abdominal pain. Dicyclomine is an anticholinergic which works by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). By doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Nicispas 20 mg/100 mg Tablet.
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Nicispas 20 mg/100 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Information regarding the use of Nicispas 20 mg/100 mg Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor.
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - It is not known whether Nicispas 20 mg/100 mg Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
CAUTION - Nicispas 20 mg/100 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nicispas 20 mg/100 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Nicispas 20 mg/100 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
UNSAFE - Nicispas 20 mg/100 mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.
If you miss a dose of Nicispas 20 mg/100 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
