In Treatment of Worm infections Niltode Tablet is a combination of medicines which helps treat many worm infections. It works by killing and stopping the further growth of the worms causing the infection. This medicine usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all the worms are killed and do not become resistant.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Nausea, Dizziness, Headache, Abdominal pain, Loss of appetite, Hair loss, Fever, Sore throat']

Niltode Tablet is a mixture of two medicines: Ivermectin and Albendazole. Ivermectin works by binding to the muscle and nerve cells of worms, causing their paralysis and death. Albendazole works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), thereby depleting their energy level. This causes the worms to die, thereby treating your child?s infection effectively.

Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Niltode Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Niltode Tablet is recommended.

Liver

CAUTION - Niltode Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Niltode Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Inform your doctor if you develop signs of jaundice like yellowing of eyes and skin, itching, and clay colored stools while taking this medicine.
