Diarrhea / Dysentery

In Diarrhea Diarrhea is an increase in the frequency of bowel movements or loose watery bowel movements. It can most commonly occur due to an infection of the digestive tract. Oxa TZ Tablet helps to treat diarrhea that is caused due to bacteria or parasitic worm infections. This medicine can relieve frequent loose motions and also help you to stay well by preventing them from coming back. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it and you should drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated. In Dysentery Dysentery or amoebic dysentery is a parasitic infection of the intestines that occurs mostly due to intake of contaminated food or water. The symptoms include loose stools (diarrhea), stomach cramps and stomach pain. Oxa TZ Tablet helps to treat this infection by killing the infection causing parasites. It relieves these symptoms and also helps you to stay well by preventing them from coming back. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it and you should drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

Alcohol

Unsafe: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Oxa TZ Tablet , as it may lead to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure, known as a Disulfiram reaction.

Pregnancy

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Oxa TZ Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Breast feeding

Driving

Not Safe: Oxa TZ Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Oxa TZ Tablet may make you feel drowsy or gives you problems with coordination or sensation (e.g. numbness or weakness). This may affect your driving ability.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Oxa TZ Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Oxa TZ Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Oxa TZ Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Oxa TZ Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Oxa TZ Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Your doctor has prescribed this combination medicine for the treatment of diarrhea and dysentery. Diarrhea can cause dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids to help rehydrate you.� Consult your doctor if your diarrhea lasts for more than 48 hours. Do not use Oxa TZ Tablet if you have blood in your stool or if you are severely constipated. It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Oxa TZ Tablet as it may irritate your stomach and also cause excessive drowsiness. Notify your doctor if you feel pain in your tendons, numbness, or tingling sensations. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
