In Immunoglobulins deficiency Pentaglobin Injection strengthens or boost the immune system and lower the risk of infection in persons with a weakened immune system. It works by producing antibodies against foreign substances thereby fighting against infection. It is also used to increase the blood count (platelets) in persons with a certain blood disorder (idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura-ITP). This helps stop bleeding and promote the formation of blood clots.

Immune globulin belongs to class of agents called immunostimulants. It works by producing antibodies against foreign substances thereby fighting against infection.

CAUTION - Pentaglobin Injection should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
UNSAFE - Pentaglobin Injection may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. You may experience side effects (for example dizziness or nausea) during Pentaglobin Injection that might affect the ability to drive.
CAUTION - Pentaglobin Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Pentaglobin Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Pentaglobin Injection is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Pentaglobin Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
