How Pulmoclear Syrup works Pulmoclear Syrup is a combination of three medicines : Acebrophylline, Terbutaline, and Menthol. Acebrophylline is a mucolytic and bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles of the airways and also thins and loosens mucus, making it easier to breathe. Terbutaline is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens airways. This makes breathing easier. Menthol is an organic compound which produces a sensation of coolness and relieves minor throat irritation.

Alcohol

You have been prescribed Pulmoclear Syrup for prevention and treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It does not work right away and should not be used to relieve sudden breathing problems. Always keep a fast-acting (rescue) inhaler with you. If at any time your breathing gets worse, please contact your doctor or nurse for advice straightaway. Do not smoke. Smoking causes irritation and damage to the lungs and will make your condition worse.� If you have diabetes you may need to check your blood glucose more frequently. This is because Pulmoclear Syrup can affect the level of sugar in your blood. Your doctor will advise you about this. Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better.
