Cough

In Cough Rylocuf-D Syrup gives relief from cough by loosening thick mucus and making it easier to cough it out. It also makes it easier for air to move in and out of your airways. This reduces the frequency of coughing and makes you feel better. Rylocuf-D Syrup also relieves allergy symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose or throat irritation. This medicine usually starts to work within a few minutes and the effects can last up to several hours. Take it in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by the doctor. Along with medications, drink enough luke warm water and gargle with warm salt water to ease the symptoms.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Stomach pain, Diarrhea, Upset stomach, Vomiting, Headache, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Rash, Sleepiness']

Rylocuf-D Syrup is a combination of six medicines:Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Guaifenesin, Ammonium Chloride, Sodium Citrate and Menthol. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Guaifenesin, Ammonium Chloride and Sodium Citrate help in the removal of mucus (phlegm) from the airways. Menthol produces a sensation of coolness and relieves minor throat irritation.

Alcohol

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Rylocuf-D Syrup.

Pregnancy

UNSAFE - Rylocuf-D Syrup is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.

Breast feeding

Driving

UNSAFE - Rylocuf-D Syrup may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

UNSAFE - Rylocuf-D Syrup is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Rylocuf-D Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
