Treatment of Diarrhea

In Treatment of Diarrhea Diarrhea refers to the passing of loose, watery stools three or more times a day due to an infection in the gastrointestinal tract. It may also occur as a result of prolonged intake of antibiotics (Antibiotic-induced diarrhea). Sachrotril-R Sachet Orange reduces the excessive secretion of water and electrolytes and helps replenish the lost fluids and salts. It also helps treat loose stools and prevents abdominal distension or flatulence. The presence of probiotics in Sachrotril-R Sachet Orange helps to replenish the gut flora (good bacteria) and renders relief. Your child needs to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it. Also, ensure that your child drinks plenty of fluids to stay hydrated while taking this medicine.

Sachrotril-R Sachet Orange contains three active ingredients: Racecadotril, Saccharomyces boulardii, and Lactobacillus. Racecadotril has an anti-secretory effect. It reduces the secretion of water and electrolytes from the intestine. This helps to replenish the fluids lost from the body due to diarrhea. Saccharomyces boulardii and Lactobacillus are probiotics. Both of them promote the growth of good bacteria in the gut, improving gut health and preventing intestinal infection.
