Shibo-Sys ET Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Tranexamic Acid and Ethamsylate. Tranexamic Acid is an antifibrinolytic. It works by preventing the breakdown of blood clots and controls excessive bleeding. Ethamsylate is a hemostatic. It works by increasing the ability of platelets to stick together and form blood clots. It also helps control bleeding from tiny blood vessels (capillaries).

Alcohol

Pregnancy

Liver

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Shibo-Sys ET Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Shibo-Sys ET Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Shibo-Sys ET Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Shibo-Sys ET Tablet is prescribed to reduce excessive bleeding during menstruation. Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy rich food in order to avoid feeling sick (nausea). If you get diarrhea while taking this medicine, consult your doctor immediately. Along with taking Shibo-Sys ET Tablet you can use a heating pad or try gentle massage and relaxation techniques to get relief during periods. Inform your doctor if there is no improvement in your bleeding after using this medicine for three consecutive periods. Inform your doctor if you have any bleeding disorders.
