This medicine usually starts to work within a few minutes and the effects can last up to several hours. Take it in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by the doctor. Along with medications, drink enough luke warm water and gargle with warm salt water to ease the symptoms.

Supresmax LG Syrup is a combination of four medicines: Ammonium Chloride, Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, Guaifenesin and Levocetirizine. Ammonium Chloride and Guaifenesin are expectorants. They work by decreasing the stickiness of airway secretions and help in their removal from the airways. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic. It blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) which may trigger cough due to allergy.

Kidney

Liver
UNSAFE - Supresmax LG Syrup is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.
If you miss a dose of Supresmax LG Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
