You do not usually feel any direct benefit from taking this medicine, but it works in the long term to keep you well. You should take it regularly as prescribed for this medicine to be most effective, even if you feel better.

How Telaim MT Tablet ER works Telaim MT 25 Tablet ER is a combination of two blood-pressure lowering medicines: Telmisartan and Metoprolol Succinate.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Telaim MT 25 Tablet ER 40/ 25 as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Telaim MT 25 Tablet ER is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Telaim MT 25 Tablet ER is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving

Telaim MT 25 Tablet ER may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

Telaim MT 25 Tablet ER is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Telaim MT 25 Tablet ER is recommended.

Liver

Telaim MT 25 Tablet ER should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Telaim MT 25 Tablet ER may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Telaim MT 25 Tablet ER 40/ 25 is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

You have been prescribed Telaim MT 25 Tablet ER for the treatment of high blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces chance of future heart attack & strokes. It may cause dizziness. Get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor as it can cause sudden increase in your blood pressure.
