Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Texaflo OR Oral Suspension is to be taken with food.

How Texaflo OR Oral Suspension works Texaflo OR Oral Suspension contains three medicines Ofloxacin, Ornidazole, and Racecadotril. Together, these ingredients prove effective against diarrhea and dysentery. Racecadotril is an enkephalinase inhibitor that has anti-secretory effects. Simply put, this particular active ingredient reduces the secretion of water and electrolytes from the intestine. This helps reduce the amount of fluid lost from the body in diarrhea. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and causing infection. Ornidazole is also an antibiotic that kills other microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging their DNA.

Kidney

Texaflo OR Oral Suspension should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Texaflo OR Oral Suspension may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Remain calm. Unless your child�s doctor has provided specific instructions, you can administer the missed dose once you recall it. However, if it's nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed one. Stick to the prescribed dosing schedule and avoid giving a double dose to make up for the missed one.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Texaflo OR Oral Suspension should be used together with an oral rehydration solution (ORS) to provide adequate fluid and electrolyte replacement. Give your child plenty of fluids to replenish water and mineral loss. Texaflo OR Oral Suspension may cause an altered taste. Eating citrus fruit or sipping plenty of water or fruit juice may help. Do not mix Texaflo OR Oral Suspension along with any other herbal or ayurvedic medicine as it can harm. Do not give Texaflo OR Oral Suspension if your child has persistent uncontrolled vomiting as this medicine will not be absorbed.
