Pain due to muscle spasm

In Pain due to muscle spasm Ticonim MR Tablet treats pain due to muscle spasm by relaxing stiff muscles. It also reduces swelling in the muscles. Altogether, it helps in easy movement and reduces discomfort. Ticonim MR Tablet works quickly, usually within a few hours and the maximum benefit can take 2 to 4 weeks or sometimes longer. Take it as prescribed. Once you see some improvement, you can start doing therapy exercises (such as walking or breathing exercises) that will help you get your strength back more quickly.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Vomiting, Diarrhea, Upset stomach, Sleepiness, Weakness, Increased liver enzymes']

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ticonim MR Tablet is to be taken with food.

Ticonim MR Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Nimesulide, Paracetamol and Chlorzoxazone which relieve pain and relax the muscles.Nimesulide is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Chlorzoxazone is a muscle relaxant. It works on brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.

Alcohol

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Ticonim MR Tablet.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Ticonim MR Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Information regarding the use of Ticonim MR Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor.

Driving

UNSAFE - Ticonim MR Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

CAUTION - Ticonim MR Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ticonim MR Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Ticonim MR Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver

UNSAFE - Ticonim MR Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Ticonim MR Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
