Pain due to muscle spasm
In Pain due to muscle spasm Tolimac-D Tablet treats pain due to muscle spasm by relaxing stiff muscles. It also reduces swelling in the muscles. Altogether, it helps in easy movement and reduces discomfort. Once you see some improvement, you can start doing therapy exercises (such as walking or breathing exercises) that will help you get your strength back more quickly.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tolimac-D Tablet is to be taken with food.
Tolimac-D Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Tolperisone and Diclofenac, which relieves pain and relaxes the muscles. Tolperisone is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to relieve pain and improve the movement of muscles. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Tolimac-D Tablet.
Pregnancy
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Tolimac-D Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
Breast feeding
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Information regarding the use of Tolimac-D Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor.
Driving
UNSAFE - Tolimac-D Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Tolimac-D Tablet may cause headaches, blurred vision, dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. This may affect your ability to drive.
Kidney
CAUTION - Tolimac-D Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Tolimac-D Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
CAUTION - Tolimac-D Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tolimac-D Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Regular monitoring of liver function tests is recommended in patients with liver disease if this medicine is to be taken for a long time.
If you miss a dose of Tolimac-D Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
