Alfuzosin is used to treat urination problems in men with an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia).

How Alfuzosin works: Alfuzosin is an alpha blocker that relaxes the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland, allowing urine to pass more easily.
