It is often used to prevent nausea and vomiting that may be caused due to some medicines or cancer treatment. This medicine helps you recover more comfortably from cancer treatments such as radiation therapy or chemotherapy. It is also effective at preventing nausea and vomiting after an operation (in adults only). Take it as prescribed by the doctor to get maximum benefit.

Breast feeding

Driving
Not Safe: Apricyt Kit may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Apricyt Kit is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Apricyt Kit is recommended.
Liver
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Apricyt Kit is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Apricyt Kit may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Apricyt Kit is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C
Apricyt Kit is taken alongside other medicines to help stop sickness (nausea and vomiting) after chemotherapy. Even if you do not feel like eating or drinking, try to sip water regularly to prevent you from becoming lacking in fluid in the body (dehydrated). If you are taking any contraceptive 'pill' at the same time as this medicine, the effectiveness of the 'pill' can be reduced if you have a bout of being sick (vomiting) which lasts for more than 24 hours. In such a case, ask your doctor for additional contraceptive precautions.
