In Conscious sedation during diagnostic or therapeutic procedures Isedaz Injection is an anesthetic agent. It is used before medical procedures and surgery to cause drowsiness, relieve anxiety, and prevent any memory of the event. It is also sometimes given as part of the anesthesia during surgery to produce a loss of consciousness.This helps to carry out surgical procedures or diagnostic procedures without causing pain or discomfort to the patient. It is given as an injection by a specialist doctor called anesthetist in a hospital setup.

How it works
Isedaz Injection is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
UNSAFE - Isedaz Injection may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Isedaz Injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Isedaz Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Isedaz Injection should be used for short periods and sleepiness of the baby should be watched. The withdrawal of Isedaz Injection should be gradual.
UNSAFE - Isedaz Injection may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Isedaz Injection may make the patient sleepy, forgetful or affect their concentration or coordination. This may affect their ability to drive.
CAUTION - Isedaz Injection should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Isedaz Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - There is limited information available on the use of Isedaz Injection in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
What if I forget to take it?
If you miss a dose of Isedaz Injection, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
