It may be administered by intravenous injection (injection into a vein) or by intravenous infusion (given by a drip into a vein). The most common side effects of this medicine include hiccup, nausea, vomiting, cough, sedation, headache, drowsiness, and injection site reactions (pain, swelling, and redness). You should not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding before taking this medicine.
